DENIM FOR EVERY BODY TYPE

So basically, when you buy tops, you just buy tops. You buy whatever pleases your eye. But when you buy Denims, you are buying something that would be your saviour for at least next one year, something that you'd want to wear four times a week and hope nobody really finds out. Something that has to be comfortable yet would look sleek on your body! Well, isn't that too much to ask from a single pair of denim? May be not! A perfect denim can make your life so much easier. And once you know some basic rules you can always find that one heavenly pair made for you!

The first step in your mission would be to know your Body type. A denim can make you look thin or tall, only when you chose the right one for your body type. Once you know what your body type is, you can find out which kind of jeans would suit you better:

1. APPLE SHAPED BODY-
Apple shaped body have their mid section heavier, so you probably think of buying a high waist jeans, hoping it would tuck in the extra bulge but it turns out the other way around. High waist denims tend to bring in more attention to that bulging area of your body.

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR-
Your denim should help your body look proportionate hence a straight fit jeans would give some extra space for you tummy and also make your lower section in-line with it.

Denim type- Cigarette pants, Mid raise, Straight fits

2. PEAR SHAPED BODY-
Having a pear shape body myself, I have climbed Alf to find what suits me. You probably shouldn't be experimenting much with this body type because most of the denims otherwise would make you look shorter. Avoid flare bottoms at all cost!

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR-
Mid waist denims which are semi stretchable so that it don't stick much to your body and enhance the lower portion. Try denims which are dark washed; it would not let attention go on the thighs.

Denim type- Mid waist, Ankle length, Dark and washed.

3. BANANA SHAPED BODY-
So when you have an overall straight figure, efforts isn't required much. Though you still have areas to work on!

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR-
Try out skinny jeans, that would help you look taller. But with banana shaped body you have flat butt, so to make it look fuller, you should try out jeans with wider back pockets. That would define your butt little more.

Denim type- Flared bottoms, Mom jeans.

4. HOURGLASS SHAPED BODY-
These kinds you body have proportionate curves and that allows you to fit in any denim type. I would suggest avoiding cropped pants which are above the ankle, because that would take away the attention from your curves to your feet.

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR-
High raised jeans would work for this body type and the extra inch would make you look taller. You can always try light shades in jeans.

Denim type- High waist, Stretchable, Boot cut, Boyfriend jeans.


INVERTED TRIANGLE SHAPED BODY:

When you have broad shoulders and the size decreases as you go down you might think that it's ok for you to wear whatever jeans you wish because the waist is petite. But that's not true!

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR:
With this type on body, you should never wear jeans with small inseam. That would further make your upper body look huge. Don't go for high raised denims, but pants with bigger Inseam would make your torsos look smaller and that would help in a way. Also, wear flared bottoms so it would define your lower body.

Denim Type- Bigger inseam, Flared bottoms, Dark shaded.
